Support Groups

At the Nick Finnegan Counseling Center, you are not alone. Our groups and programs offer clients a safe, supportive environment with others experiencing similar concerns.

Survivors of Suicide Loss

Stayed tuned for 2022 dates.

This is a closed support group for individuals whom have lost a friend or loved one to suicide. This group is offered free of charge, thanks to generous donors. If you would like us to contact you once we set our 2022 dates, please email tlehman@finnegancounseling.org or call our office at 713-402-5046 and tell them you are interested in being placed on the notification list for the 2022 Survivors of Suicide group. You are also welcome to leave a voicemail after business hours and someone will return your call.

Children’s Social Skills Group

Stayed tuned for 2022 dates.

We are excited to offer this group to equip children with skills that will help set them succeed at school and home. Each year we tailor the age groups depending upon interest, so please let us know if you are interested in participating in this group. Our counselors also lead an educational session for the parents/caregivers. Children do not need an official ADHD diagnosis to participate. To learn more about this group or to schedule your 30 minute consultation, please call our office at 713-402-5046.
