Practicum
We believe it is important for quality counselors to be well-trained and readily available in the Houston community.
In addition to seeing clients on site at NFCC, we work with partners to make sure there are enough available hours for our practicum students. We are currently partnering with St. Mark’s Episcopal School where our student meets with kids in elementary and middle school for individual counseling. A practicum student also has the potential to work with Small Steps, providing social and emotional support to preschoolers, if they are interested in working with young children. *Fall placement interviews are conducted in April.
