Support Groups

At the Nick Finnegan Counseling Center, you are not alone. Our groups and programs offer clients a safe, supportive environment with others experiencing similar concerns. Here are our current offerings for 2025.

High School Support Group

THE PERFECTIONISTS PATH TO SELF COMPASSION

  • Understand the difference between healthy striving and perfectionism
  • Learn how to stop tying your worth to achievements
  • Develop self-compassion tools to quiet your inner critic
  • Create space for joy, rest, and imperfection

Wednesdays: 10/29, 11/5, 11/12 & 11/19 @ 4 pm

Flood Support Group

This Fall – based on interest

We are gauging interest for a 6-week, in-person group that will meet at Nick Finnegan Counseling Center (2714 Joanel)

This will be a processing group for adults affected by the Texas Hill Country floods.

Led by Janet Crow, LPC and Amy Gready, LPC

Cost is $30 per session. Insurance accepted; scholarships available.
