April Henderson M.A., LPC-S
April Henderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. April is a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, and utilizes this modality to treat trauma, anxiety, relationship distress and other various issues. April is passionate about helping clients improve their relationship with others and their view of themselves. As a mother of two children, April also enjoys helping women with the adjustment to motherhood, parenting struggles and boundaries. April’s counseling approach is client-centered and draws from attachment theory, family systems, and trauma research to best meet the needs of her clients. With each client April strives to provide an inclusive, safe and nurturing environment in which clients can feel heard and can heal.

April’s private pay rate is $95 and our sliding scale application is available for all counselors.
