Born and raised in Mississippi, Laura Lee moved to Houston in 1975 to work as a Critical Care RN in the Texas Medical Center. As a mother of 3 children, she retired from nursing and became a Caring Ministries staff member at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. A few years later she joined the NFCC staff where her attention to detail, efficiency and quality made her the ideal person to maintain the Center’s databases.
